Safran: terms and conditions of sale
Although we have taken great care to ensure that the « Conditions Générales de Vente » (terms and conditions of sale) have been faithfully translated hereunder, only French Law will apply in any dispute or litigation between Safran and its clients.
Your inscription for any holiday proposed by Safran implies your acceptance of the following conditions.
Before establishing your contract, Safran will give you information about prices, dates and other elements of the services it provides during your stay.
The inscription is valid only from reception by Safran of your reservation contract, duly signed by you and accompanied by a deposit of 30% of the total cost of your holiday. The balance of this cost must reach us 30 days before the first date of your stay.
For any reservation made within the 30 days preceding the holiday in question, the entire cost must be paid immediately by you to Safran. Any stay for which the total cost has not been met within the 30 days preceding the stay may be cancelled without further right of appeal, the deposit in such a cases becoming the property of Safran.
If you cancel, Safran will retain its expenses as detailed below:
- more than 30 days before the departure date: € 45.00 per person for administrative expenses
- between 30 and 21 days before the departure date, 25% of the total cost of the stay
- between 20 and 8 days before the departure date, 50% of the total cost of the stay
- between 7 and 2 days before the departure date, 75% of the total cost of the stay
- less than 2 days before the departure date, 90% of the total cost of the stay.
In cases of justified cancellation (notably due to illness, accident or decease of a person close to the client), your expenses will be paid directly to Safran by the insurer if you have subscribed to the insurance proposed.
It is imperative that you inform Safran IMMEDIATELY in case of cancellation. The expenses for cancellation which Safran will invoice you, and which the insurer will reimburse if you have subscribed to the insurance proposed, will be calculated from the date of your first notification to us and confirmed in writing by a letter postmarked the same day.
Interruption of stay:
No interruption or abandonment during the holiday gives any right to reimbursement from us. In the case of a justified interruption (notably due to illness, accident or decease of a person close to the client), the remainder of the stay is reimbursed by the insurer, if you have subscribed to the insurance proposed, and this after the repatriation or premature return home has been organized. The sum of the insurance remains the property of Safran.
Cancellation by Safran:
Cancellation by us for reasons of local risk or danger (political or health reasons, natural disaster, etc) may occur at any moment. Customers affected will be reimbursed, but cannot claim any interest or indemnity.
Anyone booking a holiday with Safran is deemed to be aware of the inherent risks and dangers of the activities proposed, especially since hospitals and clinics may be distant or difficult to get to. The client therefore engages 1) to take personal responsibility for any accident or mishap occurring during the holiday, and 2) not to engage any legal pursuit of Safran or its suppliers in case of accident. This is equally valid for other interested parties and any member of the client’s family and relations. In particular, Safran bears no responsibility for any accident due to imprudence.
Dispute or litigation:
Any litigation arising from the conditions above will be dealt with by the “Tribunal de commerce de Romans” – the Romans sur Isère commercial court. French law will be applied.

Conformément à la réglementation Safran est assuré en Responsabilité Civile Professionnelle. Cependant, nous ne saurions nous substituer à la Responsabilité Civile Personnelle dont chaque participant doit être titulaire.
Afin de permettre le bon déroulement de votre voyage, nous avons négocié pour chaque participant auprès dEurope Assistance et Generali France une assurance très complète. Vous trouverez les garanties ci-dessous.

Le montant de cette assurance, malgré létendu des garanties, ne coûte que 3% du prix du séjour, et devra être acquitté à linscription. Lassurance nentre en vigueur que si votre séjour est soldé dans les délais prévus.
