Presentation

Along cycle tracks and little roads carefully chosen for families, this great holiday takes you through the broad cereal fields and vineyards of Southern Alsace.
From Colmar to Mulhouse you pass through several enchanting villages strewn with half-timbered houses. And the storks that are the very symbol of Alsace will watch over you throughout your voyage!
When you get to the Ecomuseum of Alsace you take a leap back in time to discover ancient crafts and trades, to the fascination of adults and children alike.
And after all your efforts, what better than to sit round a table in a family-friendly lodging, enjoying delicious local dishes and talking over an eventful day?

  • D1 Arrivée à Colmar

    Accueil à votre hôtel en fin d’après-midi.
    Le séjour débute à Colmar, au cœur de l’Alsace. Partez à la découverte de son architecture unique, de sa célèbre « Petite Venise », de la statue de la Liberté ou bien encore de sa Cathédrale.

    Nuit et petit déjeuner en hôtel***
    Dîner libre dans l’un des nombreux restaurants typiques de Colmar.

  • D2 Boucle autour de Colmar

    Etape de 24 Km avec une dénivelée de 207 m Durée estimée : 3h
    Etape douce à travers les vignobles et les caves à la découverte des 7 cépages de la région :Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Muscat,Pinot, Gewurztraminer et Pinot Noir. Si la boisson doit être consommée avec modération, ses secrets sont à découvrir à volonté !
    Cette journée sera également ponctuée par la traversée de villages typiques tels que Turckheim, Niedermorschwihr, Katzenthal et Ammerschwihr, avant de retrouver Colmar et son ambiance unique.

  • D3 Balade de Colmar à Ribeauvillé

    Etape de 22 Km avec une dénivelée de 280 m Durée estimée : 3h

    L’itinéraire choisi vous emmènera jusqu’à Ribeauvillé situé au cœur du vignoble alsacien, ce village fait partie des plus beaux villages de la région. Surplombé par trois châteaux qui protégeaient  à l’époque le village et les cultures viticoles alentours.

    Avant d’arriver à Ribeauvillé nous vous proposons une petite halte dans le parc de réintroduction des cigognes et des loutres de Hunawihr. Ce petit parc animalier abrite plus de 150 cigognes qui y vivent en liberté tout au long de l’année.

  • D4 Balade de Ribeauvillé à Colmar

    Etape de 25 Km avec un dénivelé de 30 m – Durée estimée : 3h
     

    Le retour sur Colmar se fait dans la plaine. Vous emprunterez de petites routes et pistes cyclables qui vous emmèneront à travers champs. Vous passerez également dans des petits espaces boisées qui vous apporteront de la fraicheur et de la tranquillité.

    Dès votre retour sur Colmar, vous pourrez profiter du patrimoine architectural de la petite ville.

  • Road types: cycle tracks, farm tracks (vineyards and cereal crops), quiet narrow country roads.
  • Recommended cycles: country bikes (broader tyres than strictly road bikes).

These outings are much more about relaxed exploration than athletic performance. We take your luggage from lodging to lodging and a roadbook guides you all along the way. We also provide logistical and technical assistance.
