A multi-activity family trip that combines donkey walks, bike rides, canoeing and even the discovery of the dolomitic cirque of Mourèze. If you wish to make your vacations original and delight the whole family, this multi-activity tour is made for you.
In the heart of the Haut Languedoc Regional Park, you will discover a welcoming, relaxing region where stone villages blend with mushroom forests and waterways.
You will be conquered by the warm welcome of this region and lovers of local products will be delighted by the local specialties.

Program : Multi-activity in the south of France

D1 Arrival at Fraïsse sur Agoût at the end of the afternoon

Welcome and installation.
You will discover a charming village that seems to live out of time. On your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and will only have to put down your bags. To familiarize yourself with the local area, let yourself be tempted by a local culinary specialty for the evening. The vacation begins!

Dinner and night in a 3 star hotel or auberge of equivalent quality.
D2 Walk with a donkey around Fraïsse sur Agoût

12 km with 360m altitude change

Today, you will met the donkey which will accompany you during 2 days. You will discover the pleasure of hiking with this travel companion. From children to adults, everyone will be delighted. From Fraïsse sur Agoût, you will go up in the undergrowth to the Col de Fontfroide to go into the forest of Somail. Several 360° viewpoints will be offered to you and will allow, by clear weather, to see the sea and the Pyrenees. Raise your head, it is very likely that you will see some birds of prey still living on the heights of the Haut Languedoc Park!

For your comfort we include picnics for this day.

D3 Second walk with a donkey around Fraïsse sur Agoût

10 km with 260m altitude change

A very varied hike, between small villages, forest, hills and rivers. Open your eyes, you will even have the chance to pass by a Menhir. You will have time to enjoy this natural and relaxing setting, far from the agitation of the cities, on small and playful paths. At the end of the day, you will pick up your vehicle to reach your second accommodation in Mons.

For your comfort we include picnics for this day.
Transfer by personal vehicle at the end of the day to Mons la Trivalle (30 mins drive).

D4 Multi-activities and bike ride around Mons la Trivalle

A day filled with a multitude of activities!

In the morning, you will take possession of your rental bikes to reach the canoe-kayak base. Nothing like a 5 km descent on the Orb to start the day! From 8 years old and able to swim 25m. Do not hesitate to contact us.
In the afternoon, several choices will be offered to you. You will be able to cycle on the Voie Verte La Passa Païs to Olargues, and visit this village classified as the most beautiful village in France. Or you can cycle to the magnificent Gorges of Héric to relax in the clear waters.

Night in a 2 or 3 "épis" guest room, free dinner.
D5 Cycling between Mons la Trivalle and Bédarieux

22 km with 170m altitude change

Get on your bikes on the Passa Païs, an old railroad, to reach Bédarieux. On the way, there are plenty of opportunities to stop: a tree climbing, charming little villages along the greenway or the Museum of the Bell and the Sonnaille.

At 5:00 pm, transfer by cab of the driver of the family, from Bédarieux to Mons, to bring back your vehicle to Bédarieux. During this time, the rest of the family will enjoy a swim.

D6 Day around the Cirque of Mourèze and the Salagou

With your vehicle, reach the Cirque of Mourèze. You will walk in the middle of the dolomites of this spectacular site, which will surprise the whole family (about 3 km on foot and 80 m of difference in level).
In the afternoon, continue your journey to the nautical base of Salagou where you will have the opportunity to try during 2 hours an activity among the stand-up paddle, the pedal boat, the canoe-kayak or the electric boat!

Organisation

The rides are much more about relaxed exploration than athletic performance. We transport your luggage to each stopover location. A detailed roadbook will be your guide throughout your trip. We also provide the logistical and technical support necessary.

Accommodation is in either 2 or 3 star/'épis' guest houses or hotels, chosen for their atmosphere, warm welcome and environmental and architectural setting.

N.B : the accommodation described above is given as an indication and may have to be modified according to availability at the moment when final reservation is confirmed.

Some of the stages of the circuit are proposed without the evening meals. At these stops, there are numerous and diverse catering possibilities.

Belle 1ère expérience avec Safrantours pour ce séjour Multi-activités, plutôt adapté avec enfants assez jeunes (4 ans et 7 ans), belle organisation et support, hébergements proposés sympas.
