A trip for families or couples that combines hiking in Corsica with swimming for a nature vacation. From the Gulf of Porto to the Aïtone forest, discover some of Corsica's most beautiful sites. On the program: a boat trip to the sublime Scandola nature reserve, swimming in the crystal-clear creeks of the Gulf of Girolata or in the natural pools of the Spelunca gorges. Easy hiking trails along the coast or in the shade of chestnut trees to discover authentic villages where the local gastronomy is in the spotlight... A trip to Corsica that promises to immerse young and old alike!

Program : Corsica hiking - Between sea and mountains
Your self-guided tour begins in Porto, located north of Ajaccio, a small port in a sheltered gulf on the west coast. A pebble beach invites you to take a dip, and the landscapes surrounding the village are spectacular.
Dinner at your leisure and overnight stay in a 3* hotel with swimming pool.
When you arrive in Ajaccio, you can take a bus to Porto.

The calanques of Piana
6 to 11 km with 200 to 400 m altitude change - Estimated time :2h30 to 5h00
Today, a taxi will take you to the heart of the Calanques de Piana and their ochre cliffs plunging into the sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can choose between two different itineraries depending on your preferences. You can start in the charming village of Piana, which is well worth a visit, or in the wild calanques, then make your way to the Gulf of Porto.

Visit to the Scandola reserve and the village of Girolata
5,5km with 360m altitude change - Estimated time :3h30
Transfer by taxi to the Col de la Croix pass. Take the "Guy le Facteur" trail, which runs along the coast. You can swim at Tuara beach before continuing on your way to the hamlet of Girolata. You will take a boat trip to explore the Gulf of Girolata and the Scandola Nature Reserve. You may be lucky enough to spot a fish eagle, a dolphin or even a whale. The tour ends in Porto, where you will spend the night.

In case of bad weather, the boat trip may be cancelled. We offer an alternative hike along the coast.

The Spelunca gorges
7 km with 620 m altitude change - Estimated time : 3h00
A taxi will take you to the village of Ota, where your day's walk begins. You will follow a centuries-old route, the Mare a Mare, a true testament to the mule tracks that have crossed the centuries... Genoese bridges stretch across the river to the magnificent Spelunca Gorges. This hike is perfect for contemplation and promises beautiful swims in natural pools!

Discover the Aïtone forest
8 km with 250 m altitude change - Estimated time : 4h00.
For this final walk, a taxi will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the heart of the majestic Aïtone forest. You will follow the chestnut educational trail that winds through the forest, alongside a river with numerous waterfalls and natural pools.
Dinner and overnight in a 2* hotel in Evisa.
